My Heart Attack Story — and How BEMER Supported My Recovery
On 1st May 2025, my life changed in an instant.
I was home alone when I began experiencing chest discomfort — a sensation I couldn’t explain but instinctively knew wasn’t normal. Within moments, it escalated into something far more serious. I realised I was having a heart attack.
Before calling for an ambulance, I made a decision that may have influenced what happened next: I ran a 24-minute session on my BEMER Evo.
Once the paramedics arrived, they immediately performed an ECG and transported me to the hospital. To everyone’s surprise, the angiogram showed no blockages — no stents were required. A follow-up ECG did reveal a leaking heart valve, but overall, the episode was not what a typical heart attack looks like on paper.
Since that day, I’ve used BEMER twice a day, every day.
Recently, I met with my cardiologist for a review. His reaction was simple: He is delighted with my recovery.
My current risk of experiencing another heart attack is 3.1%, and I’m incredibly grateful for the progress I’ve made physically, mentally, and emotionally.
**How Has BEMER Impacted My Recovery?
15 Ways It Has Helped Me**
While BEMER is not a treatment for heart attacks, its influence on microcirculation and overall well-being has been meaningful during my recovery journey. Here are 15 ways it has supported me:
- Improved microcirculation, helping my body optimise oxygen and nutrient delivery.
- Enhanced recovery after the initial cardiac event through better local blood flow.
- Support for vascular health, contributing to a general sense of cardiovascular well-being.
- Reduced feelings of fatigue, which are common after a heart event.
- More consistent energy levels throughout the day.
- Improved sleep quality, which plays a crucial role in heart healing.
- Better stress resilience, supporting emotional recovery after a traumatic event.
- A sense of control over my daily health routine, which helped rebuild confidence.
- Support for my autonomic nervous system, contributing to improved balance and calm.
- Reduced muscle tension, helping me stay active in my rehabilitation.
- Improved physical comfort during daily activities.
- Better circulation in the extremities, which I noticed particularly during rest.
- Faster recovery after light exercise, helping me reintroduce movement safely.
- Support for overall wellbeing, helping me maintain a positive mindset.
- Consistency and routine, which became an anchor for me during uncertain months.
I can’t say BEMER prevented anything that day — no one can say that — but I can say with confidence that it has played a significant role in how well I’ve recovered and how good I feel now.
Why I’m Sharing This
Not for sympathy. Not for drama.
The scariest thing that happened to me was being home alone on the 1st May.
I’m sharing this because many people ignore early warning signs or assume heart issues “won’t happen to them.” I’m also sharing it because proactive habits — whether they’re medical, lifestyle, or supportive wellness tools like BEMER — matter far more than we realise.
I’m grateful to be here to tell this story. And if it encourages even one person to take their health more seriously, it’s worth it.
